Hello February! šŸ’–ā¤ļø Love is in the air and I’m so excited for Valentine’s Day. Whether you have a date night planned or a fun Galentine’s celebration in the works, I’ve got some fun and colorful outfit ideas that will give you all the heart eyes…and compliments! No really, I’m not kidding šŸ˜‰ Keep reading to get all the outfit details of this gorgeous color block knit dress and why this holiday is so special to me ā¤ļø

I had seen other women wearing this dress on Instagram in recent years around Valentine’s Day and I thought the color block design was so fun, especially with the playful combo of red and pink together. I decided this was going to be the year I added it to my wardrobe and I’m so glad I did! I’m not trying to brag in any way, but I’m dead serious when I say that I got a dozen compliments on this dress from random strangers when I wore it this past Sunday 😲 I don’t think I’ve ever gotten that many compliments on an outfit before lol it’s definitely a crowd pleaser! The knit fabric is also super comfortable and not too heavy. It runs TTS and I’m wearing an XS.

Since I’m going all out with the V-Day theme I knew that my accessories needed to fit the overall vibe. Baublebar’s heart collection is so on point right now and they have so many cute jewelry pieces for Valentine’s Day, or really any day of the year! I’m a hearts year-round gal myself šŸ˜ I was eyeing a couple of different earring styles, but I ended up going with this oversized crystal heart pair. I love that these are a statement earring without being a dangly or drop silhouette. I definitely plan to wear these with my Taylor Swift Eras Tour outfit which will really play up the ā€œLoverā€ meets ā€œBejeweledā€ vibes. I also couldn’t resist these pink frame sunglasses! They really pull the outfit together and you better believe I’ll be wearing these well after February 14th šŸ’— Make sure you’re following me over on the LTK app to shop this look + so many more!

I’ve loved this holiday ever since I was a little girl because my mom always made it really special for me. She would take me to Target to pick out Valentine’s Day cards for my class and a cute pink or red outfit that involved hearts in some way. She’d also help me create my shoebox mailbox that I’d bring to school where all my classmates and I would drop our little cards into. I loved opening it up at the end of the day to see all the cards and candies I got! My mom also always put together a little Valentine’s gift for me that included a little stuffed animal and some chocolate - specifically the giant Hershey’s kiss šŸ˜ I have so many fond memories of Feb 14th growing up and while Freddy and I don’t usually make big plans for this holiday, I still love dressing the part!
