Shackets are still trending this fall and I don’t foresee them going away next year either! This is such a great jacket style that leans towards the more casual side but looks great paired with jeans, skirts, and dresses. In the first photo I’m wearing this super cozy teddy style that is lined with fleece on the inside - it literally feels like I’m wrapped up in a blanket! Can’t recommend this piece enough. In the 2nd photo I’m wearing this cute cropped plaid style and I love the neutral color palette. I’m so exited to wear this one with fitted sweater dresses and ankle boots!
Preppy Style Pieces
You’ve probably been seeing a lot of polo-style tops/sweaters surfacing over the last couple of months, which is no accident! The “preppy” trend is having a big moment this fall, so now is the time to buy in. In the first photo I’m wearing this checkered knit polo sweater and I’ll admit I was very skeptical at first, but after trying it on I fell in love! It’s one of the softest sweaters I own and I actually really like the neckline. In the 2nd photo I’m wearing this beautiful lavender cardigan - the color grabbed my attention and is a nice change of pace from my typical neutral color palette. If the polo collar isn’t your vibe, try cardigans, sweater vests, oversized button-down shirts, or pleated skirts!
Fall Dresses
I wore this fitted midi dress for our anniversary date night a couple of weeks ago & let’s just say Freddy approved 😉 It’s such a great going out dress and this rich emerald green shade is so pretty for fall! It also comes in black and would be a great addition to your LBD arsenal.
Bodysuits & Sweatshirts
I can always count on Abercrombie to have an amazing assortment of bodysuits and cozy loungewear. It’s like their bread and butter! This hook-and-eye bodysuit (similar here) is such a great combo of sexy/chic and it comes in the perfect neutral shade. And can we talk about this corset-inspired sweatshirt?! I love the drop shoulder sleeve and how it’s more of a fitted silhouette!
