Fall Target Haul: Cream Sweater and Jeans

A couple of weeks ago when I launched this blog series, it was so cold during the day and in the evenings—I was so excited that fall was finally in the air. It felt like the warm summer weather had lingered for far too long and I was feeling more than ready to say “see you next year!” Well, I feel like I somehow jinxed it because ever since then it’s been in the high 80’s during the day and I’m sweating through my sweaters! I know I shouldn’t complain because there’s crazy snow storms happening in the midwest right now, but dang it I just wish it would cool down a little! I have a feeling we may skip “fall” all-together and wake up to “winter in the desert”.

It’s no secret that I love pink, but this gorgeous cream color is definitely my runner-up! I love the versatility of a neutral color and that it can be paired with virtually any other color. I also find an all-neutral outfit to be very chic without requiring much effort at all. I paired this sweater with this olive green skirt a couple of weeks ago in this post, but I also love how simple it is with a pair of jeans. You probably already know that these block heels have been my go-to for all of the fall outfits I’ve shared in this series, and if the warm weather keeps up I can continue wearing them through December!
