Fall Target Haul: A Monochromatic Look

Green isn’t a color I wear a whole lot year-round, but when the fall season is in full-swing I’m all about it! I love it so much this time of year, that I’ll layer it in different shades to create a monochromatic look. I love playing with the same color in different shades to create a look that feels classic and put together. Sometimes people shy away from wearing variations of the same color in one outfit because they think it’s too much or too bold, but it’s actually visually appealing to the eye—I say go for it!

If you’ve been following along this blog series, then you already know I’ve been getting a ton of wear out of all of these pieces from Target! I was talking to one of my good friends last month and she was having a hard time creating outfits with what she had in her closet. She felt like nothing went together, and that’s when I explained to her the beauty of a capsule wardrobe. When you have cohesive pieces in complimentary color families that all work together, the possibilities are endless! It makes it even more fun when the items are super affordable and under $30. I’ve definitely been feeling inspired with Target’s apparel offering these past couple of months, and I’m sure it will only get better from here!
