Fall Target Haul: Printed Blouse & A Knit Skirt
This floral print blouse has quickly become one of my favorites in my closet, and that wouldn’t be the case if my husband Freddy hadn’t picked it out for me! As I was looking online and finding pieces for this blog series, I was having a hard time finding a top that I felt would go with the cardigans I selected and this skirt. As I was scrolling through the pages he spotted this top and said, “What about that?”. I wasn’t sold on it immediately and figured that I could order it and if I didn’t like it then I would send it back. But as soon as I put it on I loved it and it’s a top that I love wearing to work and on the weekends!
When pairing a top with this skirt, I knew I didn’t want something I had to tuck in all the way around, because the knit fabric tends to show if you have something bunched up underneath. I also knew that something more billowy on top would work with the pencil silhouette of the skirt, which I why I think this top works so well with it. The bell sleeves and flowy shape of the blouse balance out the fitted skirt and also add a sense of ease and effortlessness to the look. I also love wearing this top with jeans (styled here) or you could also pair it back to these high-waisted suede pants for another office-appropriate look!
Thanks so much for following along throughout this blog series! I have one more outfit to show you and then I’ll be switching gears after Thanksgiving for all of the fun holiday content! I can’t wait! xo
