A Cozy Fall Shacket & How To Style It

I’m continuing the shacket theme for today’s blog post, but this time with this fun pink style! 😍 This shade of rosy pink is my absolute favorite and it matches my bag perfectly - I couldn’t say no to this one! Last weekend I did a shacket try-on haul over on my Instagram featuring the 5 styles I ordered from Nordstrom. It was the first time I had tried any type of shacket and I was intially super skeptical of this trend, but after trying them on, I realized what all the hype was about. What’s interesting about shackets is that some lean more towards a true jacket with a thicker fabric and longer body, while others, like this one, are more like a shirt and are made of a thinner fabric. Which style do I prefer? Honestly, I like them both!

Living in Arizona doesn’t give me a ton of opportunities to wear true winter clothing, which is why this shacket by BB Dakota is the perfect lightweight option for our mild fall/winter season in the desert. The color is first and foremost my favorite thing about it, but I loooove that the inside is soft and cozy like a blanket! I think this will be my new go-to movie theater layer because I always get so cold in there 😂🥶 It also has pockets which obviously just adds to the charm, and because this shacket leans more towards a shirt, I also want to try buttoning it and tucking it in with a pair of jeans for a different vibe. I think it could work, but I’ll have to try and see! For this look, I opted to wear it open with a knotted grey tee underneath and paired it back to some high-waisted jeans and my platform Converse. A casual, cool, and comfy outfit that’s perfect for running errands or grabbing lunch with a friend!
