The Perfect Fall Sweater Dress

It’s finally cool enough outside to open our windows and I couldn’t be happier about it! 🍂 This is the time of year when our electric bill goes wayyy down thanks to using our AC less and less each day. The cooler temps also means finally being able to wear some warmer layers, so I’ve been on the hunt for a few things to add to my wardrobe for the fall season. I spotted this sweater dress a couple of weeks ago fell in love 😍

The rich nutmeg color is what drew me in at first because it’s such a beautiful fall color, but I also love the shoulder pad details! Normally I’m not into shoulder pads of any kind (I didn’t grow up in the 80’s so I don’t understand them 😂) but these are just subtle enough to add a fun statement to this dress. Online the dress is styled with knee-high boots which I think brings a very sophisticated element to this dress, but I decided to go a bit more casual and paired it with my platform Converse.
