A Monochromatic Sage Green Outfit
I’ve really been trying to embrace color in my outfits lately and even though it’s a leap outside my neutrals comfort zone, I’m loving these fun colorful moments! I’ve had my eye on sage green ever since I watched Fendi’s Fall ‘22 runway show during Milan Fashion Week and I have been so eager to incorporate it into my wardrobe. I fell head over heels for how they styled this shade with pale pink, punchy saffron, and rich chocolate brown for the fall season. I don’t think I’ve ever felt quite that inspired by a color before, but I knew that when the time was right, I’d find the perfect piece to add to my closet!
A couple of weeks ago when I was browsing the Revolve app, I spotted this midi dress in the perfect shade of sage and knew it was the one! What’s so great about this color is that you truly can wear it year-round throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Since it gets so hot here in the summer I’m always on the hunt for easy dresses in lightweight fabrics and that have some sort of slit to get more air flow happening 😉 This one is so comfortable and the ribbed fabric stretches and moves effortlessly. It feels like you’re wearing your favorite tank top but in a dress form!
While I have some neutral shoes that would pair well with this dress, I decided to fully embrace this fun color and wear these Marc Fisher heels in a matching shade! I love how this look turned out and it’s been a great reminder for me to branch out more often to embrace bold colors that I might not normally wear. You’ll probably catch me wearing this dress all summer long! And I’m definitely going to keep an eye out to see if they release it in other colors 👏🏻 Are you a fan of this sage green shade?
