My Summer Reading List
I set a goal for myself at the beginning of this year to read 12 books (1 book per month) and I’m happy to report that I’m on track! I used to love reading so much, especially over summer breaks in middle and high school. It’s sad that I feel that I don’t have as much time to read like I used to, but I’m trying to put more of a priority on reading because I feel it’s so important! I’ve missed that feeling where you get so wrapped up in a book that when you’re going about your day, you can’t help but think about the setting, the characters, the plot, everything. You feel so immersed in the storyline that all you want to do when you get home from work is to find out what happens next! I recently experienced this when I was reading “Something In The Water” by Catherine Steadman. I finished the book within 3 days and it was one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time. It made me so excited about reading again! I love it when a book captivates you in that way and transports you from the current place you’re in. On the heels of that rush of excitement, I wanted to share my summer reading list with you:
I would keep going but I want to be realistic about how many books I’ll read over the summer. What’s on your reading list? Let me know in the comments!
