Memory Lane Monday: Needtobreathe

We are getting ready for our trip to L.A. this week, and I couldn't be more excited for a getaway to the west coast. The last time we were in California was for my cousin's wedding in San Diego back in April, so we are really looking forward to having some fun in the sun and hanging out at the beach. You may have read in one of my previous posts that we are going to Disneyland while we are there, which obviously I'm so stoked for. But another super exciting reason for our trip is an early birthday present that Freddy got for me, which is tickets to see my favorite band, NEEDTOBREATHE, at the Greek Theatre! 

I've been listening to them for 10 years, which is so weird to think about. I first heard one of their songs on an old MTV reality show "Newport Harbor", so if that show was good for anything, it was introducing me to my favorite band :) NEEDTOBREATHE is a rock and roll band from South Carolina, which means they've got a lot of soul, and they definitely know how to put on a good show! I've seen them perform live twice before, once in high school at a very small venue in Phoenix, and as the openers for Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now' tour in 2011. This will be my first time seeing them put on their own major show, and I seriously can't wait! If you haven't heard their music before, you should check them out on iTunes or Spotify!
