Force Friday
Guys, it's here. The moment we've been waiting over 10 years for. Well maybe you all have...I've just been waiting for a couple of weeks since I just recently watched all of the movies for the first time ever. I know I know, I'm a total newbie when it comes to the Star Wars universe, so I won't even try to be an expert on the topic. I will say though, that I really enjoyed the movies and I can't wait to see The Force Awakens at iPic theaters with my husband on Saturday.
So, in honor of this epic release, let's first talk about these awesome pair of custom Adidas I made for Freddy. He designed them back in August, and I secretly bought them as an anniversary gift so that he could wear them on our trip to Disneyland. He's still just as excited to wear them for the movie premiere this weekend, as he was then, and he also loves wearing them in everyday life! He decided to join the dark side when he made Darth Vader the focal point of the shoe, and I must say I love how they turned out.
*Adidas no longer has this customizable Star Wars partnership on their website, but I would keep checking back as they may add it again.
The shoes wouldn't be complete without a pair of socks to match! We found this Vader pair via Stance, a company known for their specialty socks for men and women. They have an amazing Star Wars collection available right now, and Freddy couldn't resist buying a pair, or two, or three.
This Storm Trooper shirt is another one of Freddy's favorites in his closet. We bought it at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney on our recent trip, and thought it was a cute/funny charicature of a Storm Trooper with the "Pew! Pew!" gun shots.
As you can see, Freddy is a huge Star Wars fan, and I love him for it. He has been on blackout mode since the first teaser trailer came out, and he has already specified that there will be no talking during the movie...I suppose I can't blame him. His birthday is next week, but I'm sure he will feel like it's already here since he will be so excited!
Have fun and be safe out there all you Star Wars fans, and may the force be with you!
Blushfully,
Belle
