The long weekend is here! Work has been crazy busy the past few weeks (which I can’t complain about because I’m so thankful for my job!) and the weekends seem to go by so much faster, so I’m very excited for an extra day off to rest and relax. These times that we are in right now have made me pause for reflection so much more than ever before, and I’m so thankful to live here in the U.S. and for the bravery of the men and women who have fought for our country.

Freddy and I are continuing to spend time at home even though more restaurants and stores are re-opening here in Phoenix. I don’t feel quite ready to return to our “normal” activities and will continue to social distance and do non-essential shopping online for the foreseeable future. I used to prefer shopping in-store pre-pandemic so that I could try things on and browse, but now that I’ve done all of my shopping online, I have to say it’s definitely growing on me! Since I can’t try before I buy, I tend to read product reviews now to understand if an item runs TTS (true to size) or if I need to size up or down. My favorite part though is that I can shop from the comfort of our apartment, in my pajamas while binge-watching This Is Us. And most retailers are delivering orders within a few days which is great! I’m especially excited for this weekend because there are so many awesome deals happening!
