The Best Bodysuits To Buy For Your Summer Wardrobe
Gearing up for summer in the desert takes a lot of preparation. Mostly mental preparation for the triple digit temps đ đ„” but also some wardrobe prep! Iâve lived in the desert for most of my life, so youâd think Iâd have summer dressing down to a science and be fully prepared, but I donât actually have a ton of summer clothes. That is, until now đ I went a little crazy during Abercrombieâs Memorial Day Weekend sale, which youâll know if you checked out the vlog that I posted a couple weeks ago. I was in desperate need of some basics that I could mix and match with other pieces I already had in my closet. Sadly jeans are a no-go during the summer, so shorts and tank tops are the only option. Whatâs even better than tank tops you ask? Bodysuits!
I may have a slight obsession with them considering that I bought 6 during the sale! I couldnât resist the amazing prices and knew that these would become staples for my summer wardrobe. I love that bodysuits are so comfortable and easy to wear, and they look great with shorts, skirts, and jeans (in the fall đ). I bought 3 different styles: a ribbed tank bodysuit, a halter bodysuit, and a knit criss-cross bodysuit. I love them all because of how versatile they are. The ribbed tank style is incredibly soft and stretchy. It looks like your favorite, figure-hugging cotton tank, but itâs not made from a stretchy jersey blend fabric that is incredibly comfortable. I got it in an orange creamsicle shade and also white since you canât go wrong with a classic! As much as I love that style, my absolute favorite is hands-down the halter style! Itâs so sexy and chic and perfect for summer. I love that you can wear the neckline has a true halter or twist it to create a keyhole cutout, so I bought it in all 3 colors (rust, black, and white) because itâs just that good! đđ» The black one can easily be dressed up or down, so itâs perfect for date nights too!
Even though this pink bodysuit is in a knit fabric, itâs actually very lightweight which I was super happy about! I love the vibrant color for summer and it lends itself to slightly more dressy occasions. I love it with denim, but I love it even more paired with these trouser shorts đ Itâs definitely a summer vibe and I canât wait to wear it all summer long.
