How To Style White Jeans For Winter
It’s been pretty cold here in Phoenix the last few weeks, and as I’ve been going into my closet figuring out what to wear, I haven’t been very inspired by my dark wash jeans. I decided to pull out my white jeans and style a winter white outfit and I now have a whole new outlook on wearing white jeans in the winter 😍 I was of the mindset that white jeans should really only been worn in the spring and summer months with a floral blouse and sandals, but I was so pleasantly surprised by this outfit that I feel like I can wear them year-round!
To take these white jeans from summer to winter, I knew it was going to be all about textures. Instead of billowy, lightweight fabrics that traditionally go hand-in-hand with white denim, I really wanted to play up the cozy, knit textures to offset what most people think of. I styled them with one of my all-time favorite J. Crew sweaters and layered a shacket over it. Adding this longer layer really helps to give the look a wintery vibe! I also wanted to incorporate this pink beanie to add another knit texture into the mix. I finished off the look with these neutral, suede boots, which also tie back into my theme of using rich, luxe textures to exude an entirely different mood for these jeans.
I feel like this is an outfit I would wear over and over again! I love the combo of pastel and neutral tones together and how they brighten up the whole look. Sometimes when we think of a winter outfit we can gravitate towards dark, muted hues, but winter can still be bright and fun!
What’s your take on white jeans? Would you wear them year-round or do you strictly wear them for spring and summer? Let me know in the comments!
