Fall Outfit Inspiration 2020

Every year when September comes around I get so excited because it kicks off my favorite time of year: fall! I love when the weather starts to cool down and I slowly am able to start wearing sweaters, jeans, and boots. Not only do I love the fall colors that show up in all the styles like rich neutrals, deep red hues, and shades of forest green, but I also love the different textures! Cozy knits, suede, wool, and cashmere…just talking about them makes me want to cozy up by a fire with a book and a mug of hot cocoa in hand. To get me in a fall state of mind, I thought it would be fun to relive some of my favorite fall looks that I’ve shared here on the blog! Take a trip down memory lane with me and comment below to tell me which look is your fave!

Denim Looks

Denim is my first choice when it comes to creating a fall outfit. It’s the easiest to plan around and the most versatile—there are endless outfit possibilities! I like to change things up by trying different denim styles; while skinny is my go-to I also like straight leg or a cropped flare style. It’s also fun to play with different washes—the black, coated denim in the last photo is one of my all-time faves that I pull out every fall/winter! Pair your favorite sweater with jeans and boots and you’re ready to go!

Skirt Looks

This item is a staple in my fall wardrobe and I love switching things up from my typical denim looks. Whether it’s a sweater knit, suede, or floral print style, all of them offer something unique and can really make a statement! I love wearing knit-on-knit by pairing them with a sweater or a cozy cardigan. Have fun playing around with different textures and create a look that’s all your own!
