This Barbie had the most incredible time going to see the Barbie movie on its opening weekend! As I stepped into the theater, I really didn’t know what to expect or what the central plot was going to be about (I tried to not watch too many trailers for spoilers), but the movie everything I hoped it would be and more! It took me on a rollercoaster of emotions - from laughter to tears - and left me in awe of the perfectly pink fashion moments. Being a part of Barbie's journey filled me with nostalgia as memories of my own childhood came flooding back. I vividly remember playing with my coveted Barbie cash register toy, feeling like a boss babe just like her. Barbie was definitely an inspiration for me as a little girl, showing me that I could dream big and be anything I wanted to be when I grew up. The movie reminded me that I’m still growing up and can still pursue my dreams! I admire her kindness, her unwavering positivity, and her undeniable zest for life. And let's not forget, she is the original fashionista! With our shared love for pink, there was no doubt that I had to rock a cute outfit to the movie 💖

There’s a specific outfit in the movie where Barbie is wearing a fuchsia pink mini dress, a stunning Chanel statement necklace, and coordinating pink heart Chanel handbag - it’s probably my favorite outfit of the whole movie! It just felt so classic and quintessentially Barbie that I wanted to emulate her look with this pink dress (under $100) and gorgeous metallic handbag (currently on the NSale).

I loved the light pink shade in Barbie’s gingham beach look that we see early on in the film, and I thought that this dress perfectly captured the essence of that outfit. I couldn’t resist ordering this dress and the white slides (under $50) since they’re so perfect for warm weather days (which is everyday in Phoenix),and the knit material of the dress is so stretchy and comfy! 10/10 recommend. Let’s go Malibu Barbie! 🌴 Speaking of Malibu Barbie, these slides would also be SO perfect with this look!

I’m loving this vibrant Barbiecore shade of pink right now and thought this bodysuit would be a great piece to wear with shorts, skirts, or jeans. It’s also really versatile to dress up or down depending on what mood you’re in! I plan to wear it with these multi-colored heart sneakers, but also love that I could wear it for a night out with heels and a fun skirt. The possibilities are endless! 💖

Don’t want to give away too many spoilers in case you haven’t seen the movie yet, but the last outfit Barbie wears majorly influenced me to buy my first pair of Birkenstocks. All my friends know that I had VERY strong opinions about these shoes (despite all the bloggers and celebs I see wearing them) and I would have never even considered getting a pair. Leave it to Barbie to change my tune real quick 😂 I have zero regrets though lol the pink color is so pretty in person and I took them for their first happy hour outing last night! I have a feeling I’ll be wearing them a lot.
