HOW TO WEAR THE LIME GREEN TREND THIS SUMMER

I’ve recently jumped on the lime green bandwagon and I feel like that says a lot considering I’m a neutrals + pink girlie at heart! Something about this color is speaking to my soul right now and I’m loving how vibrant it is for summer 😍 I distinctly remember wearing lime green quite a bit when I was really young, like in elementary school, and over the years I’ve slowly shifted to a more neutral color palette, but I’m back in the colorful groove baby thanks to this fun lime green skirt!

My latest haul from Abercrombie involved tons of great pieces to help build out my summer capsule wardrobe and I was pleasantly surprised by how versatile this lime green set is. I love how lightweight the cotton poplin fabric is and it’s perfect for the hot temps that are relentless here in Phoenix 🥵🌵 I decided to dress the skirt down a little bit to make it more appropriate for running errands or a lunch date with my mom, so I paired it with a white tank bodysuit, a cropped denim jacket, and sneakers! Since the skirt has an a-line silhouette, make sure your layering piece sits at your natural waistline to emphasize an hourglass shape. As much as I love the denim shacket I ordered in my recent haul, I knew it wasn’t going to work with this skirt because of how long it is and it would have cut me off at an awkward spot, so that’s where this cropped jacket silhouette came in handy! I also love how my colorful heart sneakers paired so perfectly with the lime green and just added to the playful vibe of this whole look. You can also take the jacket off for an even more casual vibe!
