Mint Lace Bomber Jacket
Last Sunday Freddy and I woke up bright and early to head to Target to check out the launch of the Victoria Beckham collection! Okay, it might have gone more like this: I woke up at 7am and started jumping on the bed yelling, "Babe!!! Wake up wake up we have to go to Target! Have you SEEN all of the cute clothes that I'm dying to try on!?!" ;) Yes, somehow I managed to drag him along with me, but he didn't mind--gosh he really is the best hubby!
When we arrived there were already about 10-15 women waiting outside, almost like a very low-key Black Friday feel. When the doors finally opened we all started walking sort of casually, but also like "okay, we're on a mission and we all want the same things, so let's try to respect each other, but hey girl, I saw that romper first!" LOL. I pretty much made it my mission to grab at least one of everything in my size if it wasn't taken already, even if I wasn't sure I completely loved it just so I could try it on.
This lace bomber jacket in a gorgeous shade of mint was one of the first pieces that caught my eye while I was browsing the look book online. I have been looking for layering pieces lately, something that's more unique than a cardigan and that has flare. This definitely checked off all the "must-haves" on my list and the second I spotted it I immediately grabbed it! It's such a great color for Spring, and the jacket is actually very lightweight, making it the ideal layering piece to wear inside or when it's slightly cool in the evenings (which won't be happening here for too much longer!).
Even though I can see myself wearing this jacket over a dress, I wanted to wear it more casually with my Rifle Paper Co Keds (last seen here and here), because the mint matches them almost perfectly! I'm so excited to style this jacket in so many different ways, and honestly you can't beat the price point of only $35! If you're not feeling the jacket, this same lace pattern and color comes in a dress version here for $40. My love for the VBxTarget collection doesn't stop here; I'm so excited to show you more of what I purchased and how I style the pieces I picked out! Stay tuned in the coming weeks to check it out!
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter Sunday tomorrow with family and loved ones! Freddy and I are so excited to have the day off to celebrate our Risen King with my parents. Every year my dad hides Easter eggs in their backyard (yes, I'm an adult) followed by homemade Eggs Benedict. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and thanks for stopping by! xo
Blushfully,
Belle
