Packing for San Diego

Blue skies and sunshine are just around the corner waiting for us in San Diego, and Freddy and I can’t wait to start our vacation! Both of us haven’t been there in several years, so it will be really nice to soak up the sun, spend time with family, and celebrate good times (come on!). 

The key to packing for this climate is bringing a few layering pieces, since it’s usually warm during the day, but cool in the mornings and evenings. Grey is one of my favorite neutrals to wear, whether it's a top or a pair of denim (see below). I also can't forget my favorite pair of Noon earrings!

I’m packing a variety of jeans and a pair of denim shorts, depending on what our activities look like each day. The reason for our trip is to celebrate my cousin’s wedding, which we are so excited about! So naturally, I’ve packed an outfit for the rehearsal dinner, as well as the wedding. I’ve also made sure to bring a clutch that will fit a pair of flip flops, because I already know there’s no way I’ll be dancing the night away in my 4” heels! 

The weather has been so weird in Austin lately, rainy one day, partly cloudy the next, that I haven't been able to really enjoy wearing my sunglasses. Freddy got me this Chanel style for Christmas last year, and they are my absolute favorite.

My favorite beauty essentials are also coming along with me. This Moroccan Oil Luminous Hair Spray smells amazing and gives my hair a finished look, without feeling too polished. It's perfect for those just-out-of-the-ocean beachy waves!
