This Blue, Floral Midi Skirt from Anthropologie is On Sale!
I’ve been on my phone more than ever lately trying to stay updated on all that’s happening right now. It seems like there’s a new article popping up in my news app every few minutes! As much as I’m trying to stay informed, I’m also trying to take breaks from reading and watching the news because I can almost instantly feel the anxiety start to build up within me, and I know that’s not healthy. I’ve been doing 5-10 minute meditations throughout the day to keep me centered, but another fun way that I like to take a break from the constant news updates is a little online browsing. I’ve been getting tons of emails from different retailers I shop at sharing all the sales their having, and it’s hard not to click and see what all the hype is about!
I got an email from Anthropologie over the weekend about their sale on top of a sale! They’re offering an additional 25% off sale items, and as I was browsing through, I realized that this blue midi skirt is part of it! So I figured this would be the perfect time to share these pictures we took a few weeks ago :) I actually bought this skirt back in January and wore it to my Dad’s memorial service in February. My Dad LOVED the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the day of his service also happened to be the day of their first spring training game right here in Scottsdale. I wanted to wear something meaningful that would honor him, and when I found this skirt at the Anthropologie store, I knew it was meant to be. I also love the fact that this skirt is something I can continue to wear for years to come, and it has such a playful, summery vibe. Plus, I’ll always think of my Dad when I wear it which is honestly my favorite thing about it!
The skirt is made out of a weighted, knit fabric, but it’s not too heavy or warm for the summertime. The pleats also make it so fun to twirl around in as you can probably tell from these pictures! I paired the skirt with this bodysuit because I didn’t want something blousy to tuck into the skirt. I wanted a top that would blend seamlessly with the skirt, almost making it look like a dress rather than two pieces, and this bodysuit was exactly what I was looking for! This is the first bodysuit I’ve purchased/worn (I don’t count the leotards I wore for dance or gymnastics as a kid lol) so it’s something I’m still getting used to! I have to say, this one is incredibly comfortable and I plan to wear it with jeans and other skirts as well throughout the spring and summer months ahead.
