The Eras Tour Outfit Ideas: Lover
I’m in my Swiftie era and there’s no turning back now ✨💖🎤 Ever since I went to opening night of The Eras Tour my life has been taken over by all things Taylor Swift! I’ve been wearing my tour merch on repeat, listening to the complete Taylor Swift playlist on Spotify daily, and my entire social media feeds are strictly related to the tour. It’s like nothing else exists and this is my life now…but I have zero complains 😂 I keep wanting to relive the magic of opening night and I’m so grateful for all the Swifties sharing live streams of the concert on TikTok! It’s been so fun tuning into her acoustic set list to see which surprise songs she sings (which usually results in my screaming/crying and losing my mind). I’ve also been having A TON of fun creating more and more outfit inspo for the tour based on her songs and eras! I feel like the possibilities are endless when it comes to dressing up for this concert because you can get so creative with the theme and era that you want to emulate with your outfit. I have a bunch of outfits saved on my LTK shop that you can browse through to get inspired so make sure you’re following me for all the updates, but today’s look is all about the Lover era! 💖💖💖
The Lover album is one of my favorites because it drew me back into the Swiftie fan club. I share a little bit more about my history with Taylor’s music in this blog post, but this album was the first time since Speak Now where I felt so connected to the songs and lyrics, it made me feel like I was in high school again staying up late listening to her albums on repeat. The Lover era has such a whimsical, colorful vibe and the moment I saw this dress it instantly reminded me of the album’s cover - I thought it would be so perfect to create an outfit with the dress as the center piece! This is my first Selkie dress purchase and wow it’s so FUN! The skirt has so much volume in person and makes it so fun for twirling and dancing around in, although I recommend wearing booty shorts underneath because it’s incredibly short 😉
I wanted to stick with a pastel rainbow theme and when I saw these rainbow heart sneakers I knew they would compliment this dress perfectly! I initially was thinking of wearing heels with the dress, but after seeing how short it was in person (I’m 5’5” for reference) I felt like it would add too much height, so I opted for sneakers instead and I love how it turned out. The finishing touches came in the form of this pastel clutch and some fun bracelets from Baublebar and Little Words Project. These two brands are my go-to when it comes to stylish and affordable accessories - I loved my little arm stacks for this outfit and can’t get enough of the colorful, rainbow vibes!
Which era-inspired outfit do you want to see next?! I really wish I was seeing Taylor again so that I could wear this outfit, but there’s still 3 more months of the tour so…never say never! 😉 Stay tuned for more Eras Tour outfit ideas and follow me over on Instagram and TikTok to keep up with all my new posts 💖 xo
