The Denim Brands I Reach For Over and Over
Finding a pair of jeans that fits perfectly in all the right places is like waiting for rain in this drought: useless and disappointing. (Yep, quoting the OG A Cinderella Story movie starring Hilary Duff because that’s what kind of mood I’m in!). But in all seriousness, finding a great pair of jeans can be hard! It’s taken me a lot of trail and error over the years experimenting with different brands, styles, and washes before I figured out what worked for me. Working in retail for 10 years definitely helped me determine what I liked, because in order to help customers find their favorite pair of jeans, I had to try on allll the styles to figure out how they fit, if they had any stretch, and if they would bag out within the first 5 minutes of wearing them.
While I love trying out new brands, I definitely have a set of tried and true staples in my arsenal that I’ll continue to go back to time and time again like Paige, Good American, Madewell, FRAME, J. Crew, and Joe’s. All of these brands have so many great styles right now (many of them on sale!) so I thought it would be fun to share the ones I’m loving! I’ve broken them out into high-rise, which is basically all of the jeans I own, crops and flares, and shorts that are perfect for these hot summer days.
