Oversized Blazer & Column Dress Spring Trend Outfit

Spring is just one week away but I’ve been in a spring state of mind for the last month! At the beginning of each season I love looking at what the key trends will be and shopping for staple pieces that will be super versatile in my wardrobe. I wouldn’t consider myself a “trendy” dresser, but I enjoy styling outfits focused on trends that I think I can get more longevity out of vs just wearing something for a few months. This spring some of my main focuses were blazers, column dresses, and pops of lime green. I figured why not incorporate these 3 trends into one outfit?! 😍

This blazer has proven to be so versatile this spring and I love the color! It’s such a fun and vibrant pop against a neutral outfit and also pairs back so nicely with the lime green shoe accent. I have a work conference in Florida next week and I’ll definitely be bringing this blazer with me to pair back to jeans and sneakers! Column dresses (also known as fitted dresses that are vertical in shape) are also making a big statement this season, and this dress that I bought 3 years ago is still in style! This is exactly what I mean when I say that I try to invest in trends that are more timeless or will come back around more quickly. Fitted dresses will probably always be in style because of their flattering silhouette, and blazers are one of the most tried-and-true layering pieces in fashion history! If you stick with the classics you can never go wrong 😊
