The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is coming to an end on 7/31 (đ˘) and I still want to show you how Iâve styled some of the pieces I bought! If you watched my try-on vlog then it wonât come as a surprise to you that I was head over heels for this striped Madewell sweater đ Itâs the essence of me in a top when you consider the neutral colors and stripe details - I absolutely love it! Itâs still available in all sizes and itâs on sale for $55. Such a great buy IMO if youâre a lover of neutrals and stripes like me!
Thereâs always a small risk involved when ordering online because you never know if the color is true to the photos, how the fabric will feel, or what the fit will be once you actually try it on. I donât mind taking that risk because ever since the pandemic Iâve really come to love online shopping (despite it being a bit dangerous đ) for the sheer fact that I can try everything on in the comfort of my home and also try pieces on with items I already have in my closet. I was so excited when I pulled this sweater out of the plastic wrap and discovered that itâs made from an incredibly soft and lightweight fabrication - the perfect transitional piece that you could easily wear with shorts and sandals during these last couple months of summer and also with jeans, a blazer, and boots for fall. I love when I find items that I can carryover between seasons because I feel like Iâm getting an even better bang for my buck! Over the last few years Iâve purchased a handful of items from Madewell (probably more than I ever have before) and I have been so impressed with the quality of their pieces! Their jeans are my absolute favorite (Iâm wearing their âPerfect Vintageâ style here) and I love their sweaters/sweatshirts for fall - the perfect blend of cozy and chic.
