Maxi + Midi Dresses (under $50!) to Take you from Summer to Fall

I've been mentioning in recent blog posts that I've got fall on the brain, even though the weather won't be cooling down for a couple months. This isn't so bad, since that means I can still wear dresses and wedges! Lately I've been on the hunt for maxi and/or midi dresses that I can wear now but also wear with boots in the fall. I've rounded up some of my current favorites, and they're all under $50! Because who doesn't love a good deal?! My go-to retailers for finds within this price range are Target, J. Crew (tip: wait for an online promo code or sale) and Nordstrom. I've heard some people say that Nordstrom is a high-end department store like Neiman Marcus or Saks, and while Nordstrom does have a great designer selection, there are actually a lot of items you can find for under $50! When I shop online I usually select the price category (I.e. $50-$100 or $25-$50) which helps my eyes not to wander to the more expensive pieces :) Also if you stick to departments like Point of View, Topshop and BP/Savvy, you'll be in good shape in terms of staying on budget. xo
