Killer Queen Band Tee
We made it to Friday and don’t stop me now ‘cause I’m having a good time, having a good time! 💥🔥 I’m obviously listening to Queen as I write this blog post…because what else would I be doing?! 😂 I know it’s a bit hard to tell in these photos, but I’m wearing the cutest 90’s inspired Queen band tee that is giving me all the fun Friday vibes as we head into the weekend! Although I do have a confession to make: I just became a Queen fan in the last like….4 years 😳 and I have Freddy to thank for that! He’s been a fan of their music for quite some time, and my old self used to roll my eyes and change the station whenever I’d hear one of their songs come on the radio. I know I know…I’m mad at myself for doing that too! I definitely didn’t appreciate their music back then like I do now. It wasn’t until Freddy and I took a road trip to Sedona in 2017 when he was so insistent on listening to Queen and I was obligated to listen, but then something changed: I actually had fun listening to their music and started to enjoy myself! It was like a switch flipped and I didn’t dislike their songs anymore. And when we saw Bohemian Rhapsody in theaters it gave me an entirely new perspective on their music - I love that movie so much and it’s given me way more respect for Queen.
It’s probably pretty obvious that I’ve been on a band tee kick lately (see here & here 😉) so it was a no-brainer when I found this Queen tee online in my favorite blush/rose color 😍 I think it’s literally the softest tee I own - I sometimes wear it to sleep and don’t take it off the next day because it’s way too comfy 😂 It’s also just the right amount of oversized where you could wear it long with jeans or leggings or also knot it like I did in these pics to give it a different vibe. There’s just something so timeless about jeans and a tee; it will never go out of style and it’s my go-to outfit when I feel like putting minimal effort into deciding what to wear that day. I also decided to throw on a denim jacket to complete this look, and it’s my version of doing “denim on denim” without going full Canadian tuxedo vibes if you know what I mean 🤪
Okay so let’s chat about Queen: are you a fan of their music?! 🎤 If so, what are your favorite songs? I’d say my top 3 are Somebody To Love, Don’t Stop Me Now, & Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
