How to Style a Classic Cardigan and Jeans Outfit

Spring is coming to a close and the hot summer days in Scottsdale are upon us, so I wanted to say au revoir to the cooler temps one last time! Pardon my French ☺️ my mom and I just got back from an amazing trip to Provence and I’m finding myself sneaking in some French phrases here and there. I wore this outfit while we were there and this cardigan ended up being a great layering piece! The weather in Provence was so beautiful - sunny and in the low 70s with a slight breeze - and it was wonderful to soak up the nice weather before heading back home to triple digits. Over the last 9 months I’ve been on a journey to refine my personal style and invest in pieces that feel like “me”. I’ve always gravitated towards classic and timeless pieces with feminine details, and this outfit feels like it checks all the boxes for me. I wore it a few weekends ago when I got my nails done and I got so many compliments on it which I wasn’t expecting! The jeans are a bit on the trendy side since they’re a low rise with a cuffed hem, but when paired with this knit cardigan top it adds a timeless appeal. I also love the gold button details - they feel so Parisian chic, almost like a vintage Chanel jacket.
