Floral Free People Boho Maxi Dress

We made it to the weekend friends!! 🙌🏻✨ I’m feeling all the Friday vibes in this floral number and since tomorrow is the first official day of spring, it felt very appropriate to kick off the season in this fun dress! 🧡 This Free People dress is called “Feeling Groovy” so whenever I put it on I automatically have this Earth, Wind, and Fire song on a loop in my head 😂🎶 It definitely puts me in a groovy mood and makes me want to twirl and dance!

I feel like this dress perfectly embodies the “boho style” and encompasses so many of the qualities I love about the bohemian aesthetic. It’s carefree yet still feels put together, the varying pattern combinations give it a whimsical vibe, and it’s a style that you can easily dress up or down. I don’t have a reason to get dressed up right now, but I could definitely picture this dress with some heels, a clutch, and an updo for a glam night out on the town ✨ I chose to wear a belt at my waist to cinch in the silhouette, but this would also make a great maternity dress without the belt since it’s super flowy and not restricting!

To keep the playful vibes going, I really wanted to wear my new pompom straw bag with this outfit! The second I saw it I knew it would be the perfect addition to my growing straw bag collection for the spring/summer months (2 and counting 😂). I wore this bag over to my mom’s house recently and she said it reminded her of a poodle 🐩🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t really see the correlation haha do you?! Regardless, I’m going to rock it with most of my outfits because why not?!
