A Blair Waldorf Inspired Fall Outfit

I’m still trying to decide if I’m a headband girlie, but this outfit was giving me Queen B vibes and made me want to teleport to the Upper East Side! Gossip Girl was one of my favorite shows to watch in high school and I was heavily influenced by the iconic outfits that Blair and Serena wore. I loved that their styles were so different from one another and there were elements to each that I resonated with. Serena had a wild side to her and she wasn’t afraid to be bold and take risks with her fashion choices, while Blair’s style was the epitome of sophistication and feminine touches. The accessory we rarely saw Blair without was a gorgeous handbag and of course, a headband! Seeing her wear them made me want to try, but I was never super confident that I could pull it off. Well, it took me 15 years but I finally worked up the courage 😂

I’m still on the fence about headbands and if they’re the right accessory for me, but all of that aside I love this outfit! This is the first trench coat I’ve ever owned and I’ve been having so much fun styling outfits with it. Now I totally understand why it’s such a classic layering piece and so versatile! It can easily be dressed up or down and since it’s water resistant you can wear it in almost any weather conditions. For this look I wanted to opt for something more sleek so I went with all black 🖤
