Pink Blazer from the Atlantic-Pacific Collection
If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, then it’s no secret that my favorite color is pink! I wear it year-round and consider blush a neutral shade that goes with everything. So naturally when I found out that one of my favorite bloggers was launching a collection with Nordstrom and there was lots of pink involved, I couldn’t resist getting a few pieces! I think it’s pretty obvious which item caught my eye first…
Can we just talk about this blazer?! Everything from the structure to the buttons and the fit is literally everything I’ve ever wanted in a blazer. I had actually been meaning to get a new one for quite some time, because the last one I bought was no joke in 2010 from J. Crew…gasp! I teetered with the thought of getting this blazer in black just so that I could replace my old one, but pink always wins in my book so that debate ended pretty quickly! Besides, I feel like I can get a black blazer anywhere, but this shade of pink is so special and unique that I couldn’t pass it up. Not to mention it pairs perfectly with this striped sweater!
Even though I love pink, I’m also a tiny bit obsessed with neutrals like cream, taupe, grey and black. So when I saw that this sweater also came in a black and white stripe it took all of me to resist the urge to add it to my cart! I’ve been trying really hard this past year to incorporate more color into my wardrobe and have fun playing around with different shades. I know I’ll definitely be getting a ton of use out of this sweater over the next several months, especially since it has a few other fun hues thrown into the mix like rust, ice blue and forest green.
The cherry on top of a great outfit is a great pair of shoes to go with it, and these lace-up oxfords do not disappoint! I love the neutral, metallic hue because they add some shine to the look and they go with anything. The black and white platform sole also adds a fun element and they’re so comfortable walking around town in! This is the first pair of oxfords I’ve ever owned and the style is really growing on me—it may just be the start of something new (where are my HSM fans at?!).
I’m so pleased with all the pieces I got from the collection, and there were so many more that I would have loved to take home with me! As I’m sure you can imagine, there were a lot of popular items that sold out super quickly, like the pink blazer, but I’m linking a few more of my favorites that are still available!
