Wear to Work
After a much needed long weekend, it's time to head back to work! Even though I was fighting a cold for the past few days, it was still nice to spend some down time at home watching Disney movies with Freddy and enjoying a Labor day BBQ with my parents. It's the quality time spent with loved ones that truly makes me feel rested, rejuvenated and ready to take on a new week ahead.
Last week I shared a "casual Friday" work wear look on the blog, so today I wanted to post a wear-to-work outfit that's a bit more classic and traditional. I first spotted this Equipment button-down blouse at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year, and loved the snake print silk pocket which gave a more updated look to a basic top. I ended up not buying it and totally regretted my decision. However, it just so happened that I found it while I was shopping at Nordstrom Rack in Palm Desert a few months ago and it was on sale for an even better deal! I couldn't resist! I've always loved Equipment's button-down tops for their attention to detail and fun prints and colors that they come in. Vince is also one of my favorite brands, and these grey slacks have been a staple in my work-wear wardrobe. I like the tapered silhouette through the leg, which makes them ideal to wear with heels!
These heels have been my go-to for work. They look high, but they're actually not that bad once you get them on! I initially bought them for an event I was working while we were still living in Austin, and it just so happened that they turned into my favorite work shoe. This feminine, lower heel option is also one of my favorites! And last but not least, top it off with a satchel that can store all of your office essentials! Luckily I don't have to bring a laptop or any other large items to work with me, and this Fossil bag that Freddy got me for my birthday a few years ago works perfectly. I also love this blush satchel, as well as this pearl grey one!
I hope you all enjoyed a nice & relaxing weekend! Make it a great week and thank you as always for stopping by! xo
Blushfully,
Belle
