Pink Suede Shoes
"Pink" has always been my response when someone asks me what my favorite color is, whether it's blush or magenta. If we were still in the year 2008, then you would have no doubt of that since it was the color of my LG 'Chocolate' phone (yes, it's true!). I guess I still haven't outgrown wanting pink in my electronics, since I have the rose gold iPhone and Apple watch. Anyways....I don't own a lot of pink pieces in my wardrobe, so I'm trying to change that and it's all starting with these heels!
I spotted these beauties at Nordstrom Rack while we were in Palm Springs a couple weekends ago. I was amazed at all of the designer merchandise they had (more on that to come) and their large selection of shoes! These heels are by Vince Camuto and are by far the most comfortable heels I've owned. I bought them in a red suede (last seen here) two holiday season's ago and wore them all the time. They were the perfect work shoe for me because I could wear them for 8 hours a day and still feel great! So naturally when I found them in pink in my size, I immediately snatched them up!
I paired the shoes with one of my go-to summer dresses, and I love that the shoes pull out the pink hues in the dress! I wore this Topshop dress last summer and it's one that I wear time and time again because it's so lightweight, which is a must for our Arizona summers. This dress kind of reminds me of Alice in Wonderland (another plus) with all the fun colors woven into the whimsical, floral pattern. And now I have just the right heels to match it perfectly for some summer soirées!
