Desk to Dinner: Look 2

In yesterday's blog post I talked about putting together a wear-to-work outfit, and today I'm showing you how I transition it for dinner! Freddy and I typically go to more casual restaurants, and this time of year we love sitting out on the patio to soak up the springtime temps. Because of that, jeans are an easy go-to option paired with a silk blouse and chic sandal.

I recently invested in my first pair of cropped, flare jeans by Frame and I love them! (Also love these similar styles here and here). I've been a bit hesitant of the trend, but since it's so popular this season I decided to give it a try; I'm so glad I did. I think because they are a dark wash they feel a bit more classic, rather than a mid or light wash denim. I've been wearing them with almost everything, especially my Keds that I'm obsessed with! Plus, this style is more straight through the thigh and knee, which makes them really comfortable and have a relaxed feel. I'm definitely more inclined to wear them during the summer rather than my skinny jeans for that very reason!

Obviously this transition from work to dinner requires bringing a couple things. What I'll do is roll up my jeans and store them in my tote bag when I go into work, and change really quick before I leave for the day. I'll keep the sandals in my car and just slip them on before I head to dinner and voila! Add a statement earring and a clutch, if you prefer, and you're all set! It's an easy way to take your look from the office to a casual setting and enjoy a night out with friends or your special someone.

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Wednesday!

Blushfully,

Belle
