Tailored Jacket with Jeans

When I'm in a hurry and rushing out the door, I love throwing on something that's easy but still looks put together. Jeans are my go-to when I'm running errands or grabbing a bite with my husband, and I love having a few key pieces that I can grab and go in a flash.

These were the last pictures we took in Austin, and since it was still a bit chilly there, a light jacket was perfect to walk outside in. The one I'm wearing is by Theory, and I love how the olive green compliments the pale blush tank underneath. A cropped, tailored jacket is a great investment piece in any wardrobe, especially in a neutral tone, that you can pair back to almost anything! I like that this style isn't a blazer and doesn't feel too "corporate", yet still provides a put together look. I also like these other options here, here, here and here. A denim jacket is also a great idea if you're wearing it over dresses or with white jeans for summer. I love this Madewell one here.

I'm a sucker for sweet, feminine details on a piece too. The fact that the back of the jacket features a pleated, peplum-like effect makes me love it even more! As the weather starts to warm up here in Scottsdale, I think this jacket will be great over some knee-length dresses and also with shorts.

What are some of your favorite go-to pieces when you're in a hurry? I'd love to hear in the comments! Thanks for stopping by and checking out the blog today. Have a wonderful weekend!

Blushfully,

Belle
