Blazers for Fall
Even though the first day of Fall was last month, October truly feels like the official start of the season here in Arizona. We unfortunately don't get to see leaves change color, but the temperatures finally start to drop significantly, allowing us to keep our windows open at night and use our air conditioning less (hallelujah!). Another fun part of the changing season is being able to wear layers again! I always love a well-fitting blazer, and this season we're seeing so many styles in gorgeous colors, textures and patterns.
I've mentioned my love for Veronica Beard on the blog before, and their blazers are in my top 3, along with J. Crew and Rag & Bone. When it comes to choosing a blazer, fit is my top priority. Making sure it sits on the shoulders just right, isn't too short in the arms, and creates a tailored silhouette are all the aspects I look for in a jacket. Once I narrow that down, I move onto color and texture! Fall is all about richness in fabrication, like velvet, corduroy, tweed, wool, etc. Have fun and play around with different options until you find one that you love. After all, fashion is supposed to be fun, right!?
I've linked some of my favorite options I've been considering for the Fall season below; black is always my go-to because I know it's a staple in my wardrobe year-round. But this year I'm really looking forward to stepping outside my comfort zone and choosing something in a fun velvet or tweed texture! What's your favorite? I'd love to hear in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by today--have a fabulous Monday! xo
Blushfully,
Belle
