New Year, New Beginnings
Happy New Year! I am so excited that 2017 is here and with it, the new adventures that await. I love the idea of having a fresh start, a blank canvas with endless possibilities. A new year brings new hopes, dreams, and inspirations to run with and create something beautiful!
In my 2016 review post, I mentioned that my theme for the year was "life abundant", and I plan to continue that focus for 2017 by taking advantage of each day and live it to its fullest potential! It might be easier said than done, but I've found it's best to not take life too seriously; it's important to have fun and enjoy each moment that is put before us.
Freddy and I have been living in Austin, TX for the past year and a half, and we have been very anxious to get out and explore a new city. We have enjoyed exploring everything there is to do in Austin, but for some reason this city isn't quite our "jam" if that makes sense. It's hard to explain in words, but we just know that this isn't home for us, and we are excited to figure out where that is. I'll definitely keep you posted on any updates in the moving department, but until then, we are continuing to have fun every day and discover new things. Besides, we can't move yet because Sprinkles Cupcakes still hasn't opened... #priorities.
