Patio Pant Party: Florals & Neutrals
If you've been following along over the past couple months, I've been having a #PatioPantParty here on the blog. It's my favorite J. Crew pant silhouette that they have ever come out with, and I've been showing you how I style it in different ways. This is my final installment, and I'm saving my favorite color for last! I'm a neutrals girl, and I can't resist a rich camel color when I see one, whether it's a shoe, handbag, or an apparel item.
J. Crew has remained one of my favorite retailers over the years. I can always count on them to continue with creating timeless, classic pieces, but they aren't afraid to give them a little bit of flair and style. A few basics that I believe are essential to any woman's wardrobe is a tailored blazer, a classic button-down shirt, and a pair of impeccable pants. The Patio pant is by far my favorite style that J. Crew has come out with because they are so comfortable! The cropped, wide leg silhouette isn't restricting and elongates the leg (who doesn't want that!?). Another bonus? They are on SALE! Snag your size before they're gone!
I mentioned that a classic button-down shirt is an essential that should be in every woman's wardrobe. A crisp white is a must, but who said you can't also have a fun print thrown in the mix? This particular J. Crew shirt is a Liberty print that I bought a few years ago, but they continue to partner with this amazing brand, and I always look forward to the new textiles they introduce (like this one here)!
To complete this look even more, you could pair it back to a structured blazer, or throw on a cardigan and a strand of pearls. For summer, I decided to keep this a bit more laid back with the sleeves rolled up, but I would absolutely add a third piece for the fall season to add more texture and layers.
These Steve Madden heels have been a staple in my wardrobe, too. They are the perfect shade of nude, and go with just about everything!
I just received J. Crew's August catalog in the mail last week, and let me tell you, I jumped for joy when I got it! I find their outfit stylings so inspiring, and I love that they take risks mixing different patterns, prints and colors together that I normally wouldn't create myself. I've rounded up some of my favorite new items below that I can't wait to add to my closet! What pieces are you most excited about?
Blushfully,
Belle
