Celebrating Phil LeFrancois
SCOTTSDALE - Philip LeFrancois, 62, of Scottsdale, AZ went home to be with Jesus on January 27, 2020. Phil was born June 23, 1957 in Los Angeles, CA to Gilford and Joan (Conroy) LeFrancois and he was one of four children. Phil graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Chico State in 1982 and married the love of his life, Virginia, on September 26, 1987. Together they had one daughter, Chantelle. Phil had a deep love for the great outdoors which helped to fuel his passion for hiking, fishing, golfing and traveling. His favorite hikes were hiking the Grand Canyon, rim to rim to rim, enjoying the time spent with fellow hiking friends and taking in the beauty and splendor of God’s creation. Phil was also a sports enthusiast and loved rooting for his favorite baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers. Phil was a man of great kindness, compassion, integrity, with a great sense of humor, and loved and cared for his family deeply. Phil was an excellent businessman and sold software for over 30 years. He was also a man of great faith and trusted in God throughout his journey with stage 4 Glioblastoma, which he battled for 3 years, living and breathing his favorite scripture verse, “Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10. Phil is survived by his wife, Ginny, daughter, Chantelle (Fredricht) Ballesteros, father, Gilford, sister, Rosemarie and brother, Paul.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Illuminate Community Church in Scottsdale on Saturday, February 22nd at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Phil to The Ivy Brain Tumor Center, TGen, or Hospice of the Valley.
