my oh my, what a wonderful day
I can’t believe I did this. I can’t believe I DID THIS!! (I’m feeling all the Tangled vibes right now if you can’t tell.)
I never thought I would start a blog, but here I am writing my first post and I’m so excited to begin this journey! My love for Disney started when I was a little girl. I have such fond childhood memories of going to the parks with my parents, watching the movies, singing along to my cassette tapes, going to the Disney store in awe of the stuffed animal pyramid, wearing princess Jasmine pajamas, etc. As I got older, I continued to watch the animated classics and go to Disneyland on summer vacations. While I was going to college in LA, I had an annual pass and went to Disneyland and California Adventure regularly with friends. Those are some of my absolute favorite memories from my college experience! Disneyland is also the place where my husband, Freddy, proposed almost 2 years ago, right in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle on a cold December night as fireworks lit the night sky.
I had been dreaming of a way to merge my love for this magical world that holds such a special place in my heart, with my other passions like fashion, food, travel and home. I was driving to work one day and it dawned on me: I could start a blog! (Many thanks to my husband for helping me come up with the name.) I thought this would be the perfect time to start my blogging journey, since we are about to take a trip to the happiest place on earth to celebrate the park’s 60th anniversary, as well as our 1st anniversary!
