Bumble Bee Button Up
Last weekend Freddy and I drove two hours north to check out the quaint town of Sedona. I haven't been there in over 10+ years, so it was a long overdue trip! As we took the highway that winded through the mountains we started to see the red rocks emerge, and let me tell you, it was a beautiful sight! It's crazy thinking about our time in Texas and how there were no mountains whatsoever, and now we get to enjoy them every day; I never thought I could miss something so much!
We didn't get the early start we were hoping for that day, but we ended up arriving into town around lunchtime, so it was the perfect time to stop for a bite to eat. We had gotten a few recommendations from friends to try the Indian Gardens Cafe, so we were eager to try it! It's the cutest little grocer's mart that also serves breakfast, lunch, and some pretty amazing coffee! Their outdoor patio is so peaceful and the perfect spot to hang out for a couple of hours and listen to the birds chirping and the trees swaying in the breeze.
Just across the street from the restaurant was an idyllic creek and this beautiful patch of flowers! We couldn't resist taking some pictures there in the golden, afternoon light :) One of Freddy's good friends, Luke, was able to meet up with lunch us for lunch and also help us with the photos! He is a photographer and has been helping Freddy refine his photography skills over the past year, and we are so grateful for him! He even helped us pick out our camera, which we are obsessed with!
I think this bumble bee blouse might be my favorite purchase from the Victoria Beckham x Target collection, next to my lace bomber jacket, and black romper...okay it's really hard to pick a favorite when they're all so good! When I first saw this print, I immediately thought of Winnie the Pooh, which meant that I automatically loved it and had to have it! This piece is a classic that can be worn so many different ways, with jeans, tucked into a skirt, or with these black shorts like I've styled them while we were adventuring around Sedona.
